    Hi guys,

I'm looking for a midi files explorer that can analyze and put in order my files by key.

    Any help would be amazing.

    Thanks.

    @ VictorAime,

I can easily understand that you want to get all your MIDI Files 'well sorted'... but in the other side, one of the great advantages we have with MIDI Files is the possibility to transpose them the way we like very easily and with great accuracy compared to some Audio Files !
So, just a 'trick' in case you can't to find a valuable application that could meet your expectations, next time you load one of your MIDI Files, simply try to find its Root Key (Main Tonality), then when you get it, simply transpose it the way you need or like.
For example, you have a 'Gm7' Chord. If you want that it will be play as a 'Bbm7', simply transpose it +3 (half-tone or semi-tone) upper, or -9 lower if you want to get it always in 'Bbm7', but at a lower octave... That's it ! The same applies for individual notes (leads, solos, melodies,... ). All MIDI Notes can be transposed the way you like as long that you stay within the MIDI Standard limits (0 --> 127). Believe me that it leaves you a 'sacred' margin...
    Just a though... *yes*

Yep, you should better sort them in "Styles" or "Melodic/Rhythmic", "Orchestral", "Groove" etc... Any other idea that can fit your workflow !

    EZ Keys!

You dont have to use their piano. Load you midi, make adjustments to the key and chords then drag onto the desired track/vsti. EZ ;)

I use it to embellish my own midi. When I write I just play basic chords and then use EZ keys to make it better!
