I have a studio monitor that sounds like a faulty connection. When I got in there, the input connectors, knobs, and about all electronics are housed inside a module. No way for me to get in the module and solder a wire, or whatever it needs, so I am looking for a KRK RP 10-3 amplifier assembly, I guess. I find them for other models, but not mine. Maybe somebody here knows another place to look, or has had a similar problem. If I have to replace the whole monitor, I'll spend too much money because I have a tendency to replace with an upgrade when replacing things. Then I'll have one KRK left over that works right...because I'll probably get some JBL's.

 

If there is any access to the module at all I'd try (disconnecting it first) a healthy dose of switch cleaner, then spend a while twiddling knobs and switches followed by a good blasting with an air brush.......I have to do that periodically with my own monitors and it works a treat.
