I know a lot of people here are mostly into electronic music, but Doc Watson was one of the finest ambassadors of "Americana" acoustic music and a virtuoso musician dedicated to his art and craft. Seven of his albums won Grammy awards; his eighth Grammy was a lifetime achievement award in 2004.
