Thanks very much Matt. I have multiple versions; I mix in stages. It was before I treat the reverb itself, was too washy. Now I am away from my PC but will soon submit the final version. Yes sort of mastered because in my experience you can't achieve the 'sound' you are after without treating the source material, but the final version I got isn't too hot.

Hello my friends, little update. I have been sidetracked by hurricane Mathew and I am still without power. Found a wifi spot for my iPad to post a message to you guys. Extending deadline until November 15th. Hopefully power will be back soon and I can get back to getting this wrapped up. And published for the masses. So get your stories, songs in final format any artwork you may have and be better to submit it all come November 15th. I will start reviewing and providing feedback as soon as my power comes back on. Hopefully by late Thursday I've been told. See you guys soon!

@ned944 here's hoping y'all 'get back on your feet' quickly!
I know from bitter experience what living with no power after a hurricane is like....namely after Ivan and Katrina !

re: the Nov 15th extension. It will help people, I believe, if they need more time.

I have decided to try to resist any further edits on my pieces though..... "when to stop"; When you realise that the edit you just made is simply reversing one you made last time. You're going round in circles. Stop!

now i'll have to work on my story and maybe some artwork :)

If you can make/use a few variations of the sweep FX, would make it sound more cool. I think you could also variate the drum pattern in the intro because its doesnt have a lot of elements the repetitiveness is more noticable then. The intro string sounds a bit weak in the mix and doesnt variate enough (not sure if you can increase variations for round robin or remove just the top of the chord for the first 4-8 bar). The piano sounds like its missing a bit of low end and the velocity is missing a bit of finesse, the keys are a tiny bit too hammery for me. The arpegiated strings need more expression and dynamics when they build up to the end of an 8-16 bar. Theres like wierd mini gaps in the track when the strings leave, some form of DAW error/kontakt error/Or mismanagement of attack from the string libs, and the attack artifact of the reverse fx is more noticable then as well. The pitch down FX is really cool, i think it should be brought out the mix slightly more. The slappy percussion on the chorus might need some taming a little on the highs. I think you could use some other small percussive hits for this bit. The digital pad bit is cool, but i feel there is a lot of potential to exaggerate the tension in this part beacuse its a buildup. The arpeg string rise after the fx breakdown bit should be louder. I think you could also use 1 octave higher for the pianos on the last bit of the song. Its pretty sweet composition though!

First, congrats on nice composition! Second, I am no mixing expert. So here is more what I feel…

@SyNtH. already gave you plenty of useful points to take care of. Something should be done with percussion. It’s like there is too much of it but is probably just a matter of positioning it right and variation. It sounds like in front of the orchestra. Try to push it back (/w some reverb or other tricks) would even try different samples, less “slappy” maybe. I think you can achieve fuller sound filling the gaps I noticed in the stereo field (and also playing /w front-back positiong). As SyNtH mentioned a “cinematic” fx, some sweep or similar would be helpful in this case too. IMO the piano is ok.

Otherwise I would be very happy If I’d be in your position – you have all the ingredients ready, just mix them well (I know, easier said than done) Good luck!

Thanks guys for the great musics and tutorial links.
I couldn't participate in this project for several reasons. First of all I'm really in the beginning of the orchestral road...
Is there any tutorial for mixing/mastering orchestral music?
    Thanks!

Not bad Ed, not bad at all.Reminded me of the Fury Road score. You need to add some powerful drums, create a rtytmic, mean, apocalyptic drumming background to fill in the gap.
Otherwise it has a modern vibe and with a proper mix/mastering this could be used for a proper movie.
Dont hesitate to put more noise, tools, pads into your production, you would be amazed how many tracks are used in the movie scoring. :)
    Well done.:like:

Thank you Von, means a lot.
I have never tried electronic cinematic genre and still exploring the ideas. It was a good exercise. I created my own samples for drums, I know they don't have that punch. Thank you for other recommendations as well. I will definitely apply them next time.
