    not so bad, I like the individual patches I've heard, not a fan of all the pre-recorded sequences, but if it's a preview of one can co with a bit of work, could be interesting with a few expansions;
    very EDM oriented of course

curious also to hear more of Lethal which is a bit the same kind of synth.

    any news on the protection?

the demo sounds kind of horrible EDM orientated, i miss this lush pads, abstract sounds ... but i bet these dont sell well and take a lot longer to create as a bunch growls and supersaws.

This is the only Avenger that I'll ever 'buy'....

Most likely Soft eLicenser (no dongle).

It's a 8-osc synth with a lot of capabilities, people who can make a nice pad with a CS-80 or Diva will handle Avenger as well IMO.

agree on this. The demos sound a little "thin" to me. Respect to all styles (!), but I doubt even the dubst growlin and supersawn ppl will use this - future house or something, maybe. The old nexus demo sounds better IMO. (could be they did not treat this /w an arsenal of saturators/exciters/...)

did i read somewhere, you can add like 1000 osc's?
i can hear it has some great sample replay features, well the filter modes are an overkill, but so far i feel really good checking out the demos.

then KAWAsaki can handle it for sure. if they offer a demo/trail, im happy to try that, otherwise not. not paying for demoing or something.
    so lets see and wait.

@Matt777 howd you know they use external effects for the nexus demo? everything the plugin supplies can be used in a fair audio demo and so far i know Nexus got these internal effects, which arent that bad.
still nexus is the most limited plugin ever compared with the amount of money you pay.

KAWAsaki can not handle this , none of the Vengeance Plugins , its USB-elicenser . they offer probably an 10-15 Days Trial when it comes out if you have an USB-elicenser .

I have to admit I rly don't know that. I meant that on this one they didn't overcook the demo. Was talking about mixing/mastering stage.. but if you want me to speculate: me think they use top-notch external processing on every demo. IMO, there is no such thing as fair audio demo when you are selling synths, samplepacks etc.

There is one thing yall talking about. 8 or 1000s oscs, doesn't matter. Isn't it first about quality of an osc..??

    +1

the only "advantage" would be the one of self-suggestion.
    for better and for worse.

the self-suggestion of thinking that because you have the plugin you will finish your track.

and the self-suggestion of thinking that its because you don't have the plugin you will not be able to stretch your four bars..

that is the case with most people who spend over a healthy 25% (?) of their time looking for plugins.. :shalom:

The part about how a producer with dongled overexpensive piece of codes have an advantage and would be somewhow superior killed me...
Especially when the related product look random as f from A to Z, nothing new here, except a new dongle. Such innovation Vengeance, welp again!

To answer this, talent/inspiration will beat any of "Vengeance" plugins. Give five 3x0sc instances two sines two squares and some FX to a producer with talent and Vengeance full bundle processed by UAD dsp with low to no talent and you already guess the results.

    Talent. Beat. Tools.

    Always.

Edit : Typed all this after reading OP only, glad to know there is no dongle, still not interested until I hear it

You cant say that without trying it (did you?), and I dont see anything in this that can be a dream for sound designers, I mean, no new tech in it, no new way of programming, first sounds we heard were pretty generic, so, am I missing something?

    Yes

For me, the synthesizer is very comfortable and easy to program, I really like the organized section of the patches. It has an impressive rack of effects, different modes of synthesis, drum sequencer and you can import your own wavetables.

Sometimes, the new thing is the "ergonomic" ability of the synthesizer when using it. For me, and it's just my opinion, first is the ease of use of the synthesizer and then the rest goes.

Yes, I get you. We're just not searching the same thing, for me, first quality of a Synth is his sound/capabilities, not ease to use, but you know, we're all different! Wait & see...

Honestly, I never heard something bad from Vengeance/reFX. All their sample packs and VSTs are great. I'm glad Avenger won't need eLicenser.
