I'm looking for a VST that I could write some lyrics and it would sync by a MIDI note to my DAW, like a teleprompt. This would be very useful in the studio, as I could offer my clients this "teleprompt" in a big monitor... Does anyone know of something like that?
It's a bit of a hack, but you can try to use plogue ALter/Ego. It's actually a voice synth where you can paste in words & control the line/word position via MIDI CC. It also autosyllablerates. Highlighting by line is clear, but syllable, not so clear. But, it's FREE like MySQL! http://www.plogue.com/products/alterego/ NB: You could/should Also download a voice bank
If you use Ableton Live there's a Max for Live device that does this. \http://www.maxforlive.com/library/device/1719/karaoke
