If yes, can you give additional details about your experience with the software?

I did years ago but never really liked it because of its messy interface and the sounds that came with it!

It´s a old and deceased piece of software imho!

The software does some specialties (X2 at least) like automatic sampling and mapping, loop slicing, step sequencing, powerful EMU-typical filters and Transform Multiply (Convolution) with samples, so it definitely not a bad package.
Ah, and it reads AKAI, Giga and SF2 if I remember correctly.
The reason I didn't continue to use it is its uninspiring UI and the fact that I got everything I wanted from Kontakt, although honestly Kontakt has a fiddly UI that has not changed since years as well. E.g. sample mapping being still restricted to a stamp-sized window is a joke. You can zoom in, but still it's a stamp.

In fact I was asking this because I have my eyes on an E-MU 1212M that was and is still a very good card and the logical companion with this one has to be the E-MU X...

Well I guess I will stick to Kontakt... once again.
