@Von_Steyr's thread about Norilsk made me think of this. Haunting photographs of abandoned Soviet structures, being swallowed up by the snow. Some of the images put me in mind of Hoth, Star Wars fans.

Wonderful compositions. Just goes to show that anything and everything can be, with the eye, hand or tuned ear of an artist, show the innate beauty dwelling in the very soul of creation. All these structure and fabrications were created to and for the sole purpose of killing human beings or in supporting the idea in fact. Let us hope this is what the future will bring, just memories of a past long forgotten

Abandoned, those nightmares left for the snow
And the wind and the rain now to vanquish,
Still, laying in waste, our memories stirred,
Tender eye of the artist so rendered.
