I´m almost always using my macbook with external mouse and screen, so the touchbar is kind of pointless for me. I would be interested in an external keyboard with touchbar though.

Are you serious?!? My MBP from 2011 can run 16 GBs of RAM (that I can also take out and replace, as opposed to the new Macs soldering everything to the motherboard), and the processor specs are as good as the starter model from a year ago (2.2 GHz quad i7, 15"). Also, it has an optical drive that I'm eventually planning on swapping out with a second HD. Granted, it only has TB 1 and USB 2.0, but they're still making plenty of USB 2.0 interfaces and I only use TB as a video out to an HDMI set for scoring to picture for now. That's terrible. Apple should sell off their computer division and just make phones and sell music.

 

Touch bar would be good for DAWs and video-editing (i.e., timeline-based) applications. The emojis would seem cool if I were 15 years old. Auto-correct typing belongs on mobile devices, on which mis-thumbing is inevitable, but on a proper keyboard it's a dumbing-down feature. Proprietary (though space-economical) Thunderbold ports are arrogant of Apple, but they can be adapted to accommodate USB/Firewire/et al. connectors. Larger trackpad is welcome. Non-upgradeable RAM is a foolish design flaw for the "-Pro" designation – pros need at least 16GB RAM nowadays, though the 2GB for video RAM is sufficient for 4K video. The processor specs of these new MBPs are five or six years old. These new models will be available "used" on Craigslist for half as much in a couple years.

I wonder what apple things about this.
It would be awesome if razer would clone the iMac as well but make it user upgradeable

 

2800 on MBP and another 1000 on different docs, cables, converters, adapters Awesome. It looks sick though and I think it is fast as well.
