    On my main day to day Macs for web browsing, mail, photos and video... I'm running Sierra.

    However for my primary DAW Mac I am still running 10.6.8 and LP9.1.5 as that combo is still the most stable and efficient imho.

    why ?

    I tried Sierra, but I am not that happy with Maschine's performance yet, until that will be fixed i don't switch.
    El Capitan works for me quite good at the moment

    Quite a poor selection to choose, You don´t seem to have an idea about the huge differences in OS, specially hardware- related.

    Which options would you like to see ? If you dont either use El Capitan or Sierra 'older' is your choice.

    Its not OS X or MacOS so no . Do you use Free BSD as as OS for Music Production ?

    When I hear that sierra is doublechecked right I'll upgrade then
    But for now...stiking with stability and performance for running pro tools 10 with rtas plugs...that works

    on windows still sticking to win 7 too...

    I know win 10 will be ready soon... before sierra... but really that cortana bitch is hard to kill...she always come back even with registry edits

    Facts, I do not and could not discern ANY...NOT ONE difference in performace from Mavericks, Yosemite, El Capitan, and now this Sierra. I think a lot of you are dragging it (exaggerating). The only noticeable difference on the Mac platform was from Snow Leopard to Lion. Stop playing with yourselves.

    same as Carlarsch since I also got pro tools 10HD (for mix & mastering - when I do :knock:)

    also, I've read a few posts & comments from users who have upgraded and it seems there was compatibilty issues with some plugins with el capitan & sierra, so, for the moment i'll stick to this configuration.

    using LP X, still got a lot of plugins that are here thanks to 32 lives (if i'm not wrong, sylenth, orange vocoder, nexus (?) (1.4) & others )

    KXStudio,I know it's more Linux than Free BSD but it's in the same vein, Unix code..
    I can't beat the price. I also use Linux mint for my internet box.

    I'm on Capitan for main use,partition Sierra for experimentation and Snow leopard on VR, but i'd love to have all my programs running on Snow leopard as i think it was the most stable OS X
