For some plugins, the Terminal "codesign" command will give errors. (an example of such a plugin would be iZotope VocalSynth 1.00b)

Initially, the error is "unsealed contents present in the bundle root"

To fix this error, make invisible files visible in Finder and delete the hidden icon file out of the root of the bundle.

However, that brings another error when trying to run codesign again, this time the error reads:

"/Library/Audio/Plug-Ins/Components/iZVocalSynthAUHook.component: resource fork, Finder information, or similar detritus not allowed"

Can anyone explain how to fix this?

As of now, Logic won't scan the plugin, so it isn't usable until the signature can be replaced using the codesign command.

FIXED: It was a user error, I was trying to codesign the wrapper file instead of the bundle inside..
