Audition CS6 install problem

    Hi folks, hope someone can help me...

    I downloaded the version of Adobe Audition CS6 that was posted a couple of weeks ago, and finally I have the time to install it! However, whenever I try to install it gets to 8% and stops, with the "time remaining" counter just continuing to rise. I left it for an hour and came back to it saying "time remaining 1248 mins"!
    I've disconnected my PC from the net, so Adobe don't know what I'm doing but I don't think that's the problem...

    Do I have to uninstall earlier versions of Audition (I have 3 & 5.5 installed currently) before installing 6? I am reluctant to do so unless absolutely necessary...

    (Win 7 Ultimate btw, if that matters...)

    Idunno, I installed A5 fine. I also have A4 and A3 installed, as well.

    CS6 still haven't been released by the scene, at least on my knowledge. please correct me if i'm wrong, cuz i'm waiting for Photoshop and Illustrator :sad:

    dont know wich package you have, but maybe something like this helps you:

    (check the comment from: unidyn \ cosmicsoulmachine) if nothing helps, try (for now) a portable version.
