How to make this snare sound ?

    hi guys
    i like the snare from the following song very much (jump to 2:20)
    can anyone recommend some sample libraries for that? (other than Stylus RMX)

    Just sounds like a rimshot with lots of reverb to me?

    Try layering claps and foley onto different rimshot sounds for cool textures. Maybe a bit of saturation to glue them together a bit. Then reverb. It's all trial and error, really.
