I'm not trolling when I say that I truly love Yoko's music and I think she has (had?) an amazing quality to her voice. I really wouldn't categorize her music as Rock and Roll, although, there are those familiar elements of the genre that she had used as part of her commentary on popular culture. Her vocal rhythm experiments I feel yielded her up a fine crop of grooves that never dumbed down into the ordinary or mundane and still till this day keep my interest when I revisit these nearly 50 year old recordings . I for one think she had it going on, and although not a studied musician, used the medium to her advantage in her growth as an artist. What was it that her husband had said about tuba's?
