The guy, and the text sucks (for me)
BUT
The beat is out of this world. That sliding and clean 808s and especially the "clap/snare".

I search a way to create that nice sliding 808s and i search a sample pack which has this metallic snare/clap.
i searched some youtube tutorials, they´re not bad. But not "punchy" enough

Anyone in the trap business can help out?

i´m on ableton and Logic

Blasian We The North is a good kit,
for sliding 808 basses Flstudio has that slide notes for that,
I can imagine other daw's have something comprerable.

Kontakt also has some nice 808 bass library's with very big slide buttons in the middle of the interface for a reason

 

There's no "808" in this track - there are notes played by the kick only (without the bass) and notes played by the bass only. It's a regular short punchy kick and a slightly distorted sine with glide enabled in the synth. The snare is a layer (any pipe metal sound or a plucky FM sound + a snare tail will do). People now days layer anything with anything, it's nearly impossible to find every possible sound in sample packs - at least fast enough so they don't sound "old" when you use them.

 

also ich kann dir eine lösung anbieten : Nexus > Bass Presets >BA Triangle , diesen dann in einem bus mit distortion anreichern (z.B: FL Blood Overdrive ) (be careful with the gain !) und die untersten frequenzen , also alles ab 80 hz rausfiltern. dies sollte einen guten anfangspunkt bieten hope it helps oh und noten sliding gibts in nexus auch, heisst da nur portamento , nur noch das tempo auf schnell, und abgehts

 

Goto Yotuube and search how to make 808's glide. You will find bunch of people with different methods. Pretty much any daw you can use pitch bend automation to get what your looking for. Some vst's have glide/portamento.

 

Drill snare, the most overused snare in trap / contemporary rap:

Sine wave in a synth (subtractive, FM, Wavetable, etc). Set it to monophonic. Add portamento and/or add pitch bend automation. Saturate and add lowpass filter. Layer with kick.

Swatch, this is some of the best trap ive heard outside of the states!! My new favorites for sure.

Follow instructions above for that type of bass. It can be 808 or sine bass with low pass and portamento.

Just found the Julez Jaidon stuff.
Especially the emergency kit Kontakt.
Made some good results with that

But Watch Out When You Mixing This Kind Of Snares.
This Sound Can Cuase A Headache And Ear Fatigues Sooner Than Other Elements In Mix.
