I think it must be frustrating to hear people over simplify someone's opinion and then reduce it to a yes or no answer. Obviously he feels oppressed and concerned about the future and present of his society. He has reasons for it. Attacking him is only going to prolong the conversation and possibly get people ejected from a music forum. I don't think we want that.

I think it is important to have an open mind and try to have some empathy and benefit of the doubt about other's points of view. Assuming that he is a Nazi sympathizer because he would rather not have his nation absorb a large number of desperate people that have little chance of successfully and peacefully assimilating into their way of life does not seem open minded. There is a problem and it needs a solution but attacking him for his feelings is not a good response.

Everyone attacking him is only escalating the situation and getting further away from the original point.

The way this topic has developed is all the proof needed as to why politics shouldn't be allowed on this audio forum.

Topics just end up as the vehicle to engage in some pay back for past disputes and a way to settle old scores in personality conflicts.
