    Hi there,

As the title suggests, I was wondering if there is a weekly/bi-weekly/monthly podcast that showcases future bass music. I listen to Noisia Radio a lot and but obviously that is multi-genre. If not, just any studio mix would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Soda Island, Soulselection, SoulEtiquette, Zensupremacy & NESTHQ (depends on the person) can have it.
Theres lots of people on SC you'll wanna look out for: Mr. Carmack, Herzyloyde ,J.Robb ,GEOTHEORY, west1ne, Sam Gellaitry, Mo Vibes, KMB, Ramzoid, octn, wntr, WIZE, tsuruda, Noer the boy, dabow, RNDYSVGE, montell2099, DIVERSA, swindail, whereisalex, alaya, Grynpyret, Weird Inside.

Most have these guys have done mixes which should have even more artists for you to explore.

Thanks - an extremely thorough answer. Funnily enough only yesterday someone called Swindail with a bunch of facebook likes pm'd an old music project of mine - guess it's the same guy.

    Thanks again.

No problem, im quite a big fan of what the blend of genres (UK Garage, Trap, Bass, House, Jazz) finally created. I love the experimentation and lack of limits the producers give to it. It allows for a lot of variety and twists on common sounds. The only thing that most of these guys suffer from is mixdowns, some of these guys kicks are literally just huge square waves that have been clipped to all hell.

Yeah some of it falls on the side of silliness, or sometimes too saccharine for my tastes, but there's a lot of good and creative music around at the moment. Been listening to some artists you mentioned and really enjoying the souletiquette mixes you suggested. Thanks again.

I love how this style is still new and developing and its really "anything goes". Blending digital and analog/acoustic sounds. I LOVE this stuff because it tends to be more melodic and musical than other EDM and you can go nuts with the theory
