Just wondering what people recommend as the best synthesizer sample libraries out their, ideally for Kontakt?

Post your recommendations so I (and others) can lap them up! !

 

I hear AKAI are really good.. I am in no way an expert on this.

 

everything from Tronsonic and Synth Magic IMO

 

If you can get a sample library of the sound of Access Virus Ti you should be pretty happy with it as the hardware synth Virus Ti is purely amazing!

 

Among the big dev' there are some great single dev who worth the attention:
Synth Magic
Tronsonic
Hideaway Studio
HGSounds
Soulviasound
Sound Dust
Rhytmic Robot
At Sampleism there are loads of cool kontakt lib inde dev, aswell.

here is a list of some of my favorite kontakt libraries that are based on hardware synths:

cl projects - jd850, saffron bass synthesizer, hypernova
hideaway studios - zero-1 synth
almost everything ever put out by hollow sun - but especially: pulstar, definitive m1000, you know 6, vks70, string synths, taurus bass pedals.
indiginus - solid state symphony
pinknoise studios has several great sounding sampled synth libraries (their guis are not great, but the sounds are)
synth magic - many libraries are top-notch, but especially: sounds of the quadra, phobos mkii, black widow, vector x, polychrome, zom zom
wavealchemy - spectrum, pro-ii
wide blue sound - orbit, eclipse
zero-g - epica

Samples From Mars have some nice ones

 

I'd go for CL Projects stuff too, they have very nice libraries.
There's also Puremagnetik, which I love but it all depends on the sound you're looking for, and you could also check some of the few Pinknoise libraries, they are pretty good too and each library tends to be dedicated to certain synth.
