    In Firefox (and derivatives) go to about:config and enable "privacy.trackingprotection.enabled". This will block some malicious ads before your adblocker (faster and with less memory). Use SpyBlock to block third party requests and LibreJS for a lot of unnecessary JavaScript.
    Enjoy the web again.

    Peeplink spews out some horrid popups, but when I'm logged in and have adblocker on I get no popups on the sister site.

    Same here. Just clicking on log in and I get a pop up, warnings, the site is unusable. Then we read, it's impossible if we're logged in...WTF!!!???

    my solution to the pop ups is to never left click on a link but instead right click and open the link in a new tab. this way the pop ups dont have a chance to pop up.. it works for me

    It has been pretty bad, I would get a malicious ad on the very first click when not logged-in, some would force full screen (F11) to hide the ability to close the tab, they all want me to install something or install a chrome extension, many make loud piercing noises and warn me that my hard drive will be erased or that I need to call some number to get my computer fixed (bogus).

    After logging in to the sister site it seemed to stop the initial click pop-up, but I would still get them when refreshing or when visiting peeplink, and then the actual hosting sites themselves were an entirely different and complex minefield to navigate. HOWEVER, after running AdBlock Plus, JavaScript Popup Blocker, & uBlock Origin, I can now successfully navigate even the worst culprit (uploadrocket) without any adds or popups. But I will say if I was not already aware of how great this site and the sister site are and I got a popup that redirected me, maximized my browser view, and told me my hard drive was going to be erased, I would probably never visit again as a newcomer.

    Saint, this is not conducive to getting people to enjoy using the site. You're pissing off your loyal user base. Popups are only a minor annoyance that the vast majority of people will deal with... but malicious redirects that will hijack or infect computers is unacceptable.

    Most of us have critical information stored on our computers and if we get infected we have a lot to lose. We can't risk it. I can't risk it.

    Logging in doesn't solve the problem because 1) trying to log in causes the malicious popups, and 2) occasionally we get logged out due to timeouts or whatever, which means we're back to getting popups the next time we visit and we may not even realize we're logged out.

    I personally feel like you're not taking this issue seriously.

    It's still serious and tragic to happen. Member since more than four years on AudioZ, I had never encountered such problems. And should consider changing this fucked PeepLink by another system, where the links are clickable.

    I managed to solve my peep link issue with pop ups by adding JavaScript pop up blocker and Adblock plus to chrome . That solved it for me .

    The popups when trying to log in, for example, are not the same as the peeplink grabbers. They can only come from the AZ site.

    So what lists do you use in particular? I use µblock origin and audioz became the major pia to browse nevertheless.

    @SAiNT Why do you discriminate between logged-in an non-logged-in users? If you don't need the impressions why not ditch this nuisance once and for all?

    How To Make Money With Pop-Up Ads

    [IMG] :snuffy::dont:

    The problem is that you are a member or not, you will receive this popups every time. For popups is a way to make money. I hope I've wrong to say that, and I don't take the responsibility to say that this is a problem that is only related to the responsibility of the administrator of this small website unpretentious.

    Here the HTML code for PeepLink.

    <!-- PopUp Windows -->
    <div class="popups">
    <form method="post" id="rep" class="window">
    Are you sure all links on this page are dead?
    <div class="QapTcha"></div>
    <ul class="random_butt">
    <li><input name="submit" type="submit" class="bt_ok" onClick='$("#rep").load("/?mod=report&note_id=360403400ecf");
    return false' value /></li>
    <li><input type="button" class="close_link bt_cancel" value /></li>
    </ul>
    </form>
