I'm trying to recreate the sound of George VI abdicating the throne... as a rap.

    "the decision, yeh..."

    "has been mine alone..."

    "get my abdication app..."

    "on your iPhone!"

Does anyone know of a plug in that can help me recreate the genuine sound of a twentieth century monarch?

Mad. "It's a mad mad mad mad world!"

    Waves | The King's Microphones

Used exclusively by the royal family for speeches on momentous occasions, each of these three priceless
microphones dating back to the 1920s and 1930s was tailored and tuned especially for its specific user:
King George V, King George VI, and Queen Elizabeth. Beautifully designed and decorated with gold, silver, and
chrome adornments bearing the royal coats of arms, each is a one-of-a-kind aesthetic masterpiece with its own
distinctive sonic character. The King’s Microphones plugin offers stunningly accurate recreations of the originals’
unique frequency responses, with three proximity settings for each.

Available as a singular PlugIn or as a component of the Waves V9 package.

You can use all the mic plugins you want, but if you wanted to sound like an early 20th century English monarch then you'd have to speak in the stilted spoken English that was RP.

Listen to the announcer on this for example,

I don't think there's a plug in on Earth that can turn modern spoken rap shizzle into something sounding so terribly, terribly British.
