In theory this controller is exactly what I need!

In practice however, I can't even get passed go =/ I knew I was going to have trouble with this but I thought it was going to be a fun challenge. Unfortunately this is just a bad time.

Here's what I need . . . functional transport controls. I got the play and stop button to work using midi learn but they don't effect the lights in anyway.

Pretty much all the other knobs faders and buttons as CC controllers. So I can learn them in my rewire client.

Also the step sequencer to function and be usable. I know there are timing issues but if I need to attach a midi cable to something else to have it be able to sychronize to MTC correctly I can do that.

This is how I feel rn:

@MYCbeats I was looking at old posts and you might seem to know how to do this.

Idk about all your requirements but heres how I've set mine up.

First download the driver update from M-Audio, I think the latest version is 1.0.8

    ON THE UNIT ITSELF

go to prefs, change clock to external.
Make sure MIDI CH is 01 and MIDI-OUT is USB (Later you can get fancy with this)

Hit CTRL, rotate the dial for CTRL TYPE till it shows transport, set it to Midi CC.
Encoders faders and buttons I use MCU (well just knobs only for sends). So you're on your own here.

Save all your changes as a "Save All"

    IN STUDIO ONE

Add a "New Instrument" (Mine is called TriggerFingerMMC) set the "Send To" to "Trigger Finger Pro MIDI"
Enable "Send MIDI Clock" and "Use MIDI Clock Start". Hit OK.

Add a "New Keyboard" (Mine is called TriggerFinger), Recieve from Trigger Finger Pro MIDI and Send to Trigger Finger Pro MIDI, Hit OK, (You'll get some message about multiple devices using the same port don't worry.)

Open the Mixer on the left click "External", Edit TriggerFinger. Turn on MIDI Learn and press the play and stop buttons on the unit. Then assign the command "Start" from transport commands section to the play button and "Stop" to the stop button.

    You're good to go.
