Hi

Im sitting here trying to have the exact same output from 10 different wav-files!

I´ve tried Normalized and it works like shite
I´ve tried to ad/remove level +1db/+3db/+6db - -1db etc etc and I soon get confused so that´s not the solution!!
Im in Wavelab 9 essential Win7

Maybe someone in here know how to do a batch converting of levels in Wavelab or maybe someone knows of a plug (win7) that can do the job for me???

Help is really appriciated!!

+1 on Goldwave. Did it on multiple occasions, only downside is - only stereo files are supported.

 

Reaper also is a good batch converter.

 

Don't normalize, as it is destructive. ;)

Wavelab has batch processing (if you press ctrl+B).

I need the same level on all 10 wav-files! So you have the same output when you play each of them! I don´t know any better way to say this!

OK phloopy, I guess what you want is to make them subjectively sound with the same perceived loudness.
It seems your problem is that when simply normalizing them to the same level, all your WAVs will have the same *peak* level but not the same *RMS* level. So one loud peak in the file can make the whole file sound softer, although all files finally have at least one peak sample at the exact normalization level.
You can use a different process that normalizes to a certain RMS level instead of a certain peak level.

Although RMS level is still only a rough approximation to perceived loudness, it's much better to normalize to an average RMS level than just peak normalization, so try to normalize to a certain RMS level in your software of choice. Also make sure you leave enough headroom for the audio not to clip; usually you wouldn't go above -6dB RMS, depending on the source. Which brings us to the second tool of choice:
The limiter!
Equalizing the average RMS level of all files without changing their dynamics will most likely make some of your files softer than they already are if you don't want them to clip.
If you don't mind reducing the dynamics and get "more punch", I would rather use a limiter (ideally one that will monitor the average RMS value over a certain time) to achieve what you want.
I'm sure your files will sound much more on the same level if treated with sensible limiter settings.

Isn´t this just an analyser??? Tested it but not able to save anything .... might be me who cannot figure out how exactly it works or is it just a analyser?

Yes It did the same for me and I could not save and I thought it was just me. Pity it must be a limitation of the craic otherwise this would have been ideal
