I've been developing a racing game in CryEngine:

I wonder if there's some virtual instrument with vehicle sounds or well-usable synth for vehicle sound samples processing??
I have Seaboard RISE 49 usb midi controller which can do the expressions perfectly, so it's really about processing the samples effectively

There are some samples packs with the sounds you are looking for: Hot Rod - Rev Ups, Cars - Suvs & Vans, Cars - Everyday Cars.
