wow, WHAT A GREAT IDEA!! I feel like I need something like this to take my music to the next step. After 4 yrs of getting into creating music, I'm just now starting to REALLY understand things like proper eq-ing, and compression and the different techniques I should use and when to. But it's still fuzzy at times. Some things like this would def help, so I'll definitely you up on your offer. Working on a cool uptempo Rnb/hiphop song. I'll be in touch once I complete the vocals!

Hey, Fuad. First off, kudos to your initiative and disposition to help our community. That per se is invaluable.

Here's an idea: How much would you charge to diagnose projects? Say, I send you stems or recorded tracks and you offer opinion on what sounds right or wrong about them. Maybe I could send drums I've recorded or maybe a mixdown and you consult over them.

Have a nice once.

Thank you so much for your amazing words man, makes me happy. To diagnose a project would really depend on what I'm diagnosing. A whole song would be different than a drum loop than a synth. So just send me a PM and we can have a chat about it.

So what I'm planning to do is something even better than skype. I'm working on setting up regular live Q and A sessions hosted on my site, maybe once or twice a month. So once that's setup I will announce it here and let you know about it. In the meantime just send me a PM and let me know what questions you have.

i might give you one track to do for vids as i'm kinda selftaught on mixing and masterng so sometimes i'm kinda lost on right volumes for effects and mixing my tracks and setting the freq ranges and such. maybe you ca help me with this

During that sequence you are heard to say "Tighten up the low end" and the visual shows you boosting the hell out of the low end with a shelf. I start to wonder if what you are teaching is to put it mildly BS. Your intentions seem admirable though, and your prices are quite low I'll give you that.

I'll put my money where my mouth is though, in the upcoming week I'll upload a video and a master chain anyone can use, in the video I'll teach you what it is, how it works, and how to use it. It will be Ableton only plugins but I'll explain each process so you can use the same chain on any daw, I'll do this all for the low price of $0, only for audiosex members. Just my way of giving back to this amazing community.

Give me a week to put it together. If a moderator could get in touch with me, I'd like to make this available to audiosex members only, so if there's a way we can make the thread visible only to logged on members?

@kjfarrell That's actually a great tutorial man. I can assure you that what i teach is absolutely not BS and my 1800+ students are a testament to that. What you saw in the video is probably me boosting the hell out of the low end so I can actually hear what's happening down there and to demonstrate what NOT to do.
