Do you know if there is a MacOS vst plugin that plays "PREVERB" effect, please?

Do you mean pre-delay, or reversed reverb?

 

David Gibson, in his DVD "The Art of Mixing", calls "Preverb" the effect that you can listen from 1:26:04 of his documentary:

I would call it "pre-reverb", therefore sorry but you'd better listen personally

 

You can get the same effect with having a for example vocal track. Then put a reverb on it, and bounce the track with reverb to a new stem and reverse it. But I don't think there is a plugin for preverb.

 

Yeah, there is not really a "reverse reverb-trick plugin", since it's physically impossibe (in realtime).

Just reverse your vocal, add reverb, bounce reverb and then reverse the reverb. Align it with the dry vocal and mix it to taste. You can even duck/sice-chain the reversed reverb with the dry vocal.

Well, I remember Altiverb has a R-everse button, but I don't know if that's the same.

When I hear the term preverb or see it on a reverb plugin, its refering to the early reflections before the sound of the space. EZ way to make sounds bigger and spacious without making it sit back in the mix. A lot of preverb and very little to none of the space/plate

 

interesting, i googled "ableton reverse reverb max 4 live", showed the link, but was no longer available,... obviously I didn't try hard enough,, (and the link the youtube video said the same i believe...)... cool!
