Hi there !

I've installed PT 12 from AudioUTOPIA.
It's a very good release !!

But it don't recognize Eleven Rack
After opening PT
It loads device info for Eleven rack and then i receive an error message :

Access violation occurred, thread cause a DEP Violation at: 0x0000000000118084
I've downloaded the 64bit driver for Eleven but no result !!

I'm running with Win 7 x64, 16 Gb RAM, Core I7

Does somebody use this release with eleven rack ??

maybe the best are to ask Avid , legit user have also same problems with Eleven Rack

 

If you tell me that this release of pt12 is working with eleven rack, i will especially install windows 10

 

make sure to DEP Settings are correct located under system/device manager/advanced setting/ DEP Tab
also make sure you have latest Nt 4.5Frameworks installed, those are 2 things you should do to correct that error code

Hi i am having the same problem, did you ever manage to find a fix? I only get this problem when using Pro Tools with the eleven rack its works fine with my M-Audio box

 

I've tried all kinds of things and it still crashes for me. I don't think it's a utopia error but a bug in pro tools. I use a focus rite 6i6 and my workaround is make sure the eleven is off when launching protools. Once it loads I turn the eleven back on and it works via spdif and the eleven interface software loads up too. Dep settings and net frame did not solve my problem. Trashing prefs did not solve it.

I don't know if 12.4 fixes this. Maybe one day we will find out.

If someone solves this problem please tell us the solution.

Thanks for the reply, btw are you running windows 10. I was thinking up upgrading but if the fault is still happening i might not bother.

 

Few weeks ago, I had same problem. I use 11rack as interface. Then receive the same error message.
But I found the solution. It my be a little bit inconvenient but worked.

Before you open your session, make your 11rack offline.(like unplug your usb or something)
You will load your session successfully. Then reconnect your 11rack , change your playback engine to 11rack.
the PT will make you reopen the session.

Done!

 

hi, i am luis I am Spanish . I tried this solution but it gives me a lot of problems when recording and playback. no patch for the eleven detects the protools 12 has not ilok . I do not understand that with another daw no problems and if protools . thanks and sorry for my English .

no im not using the Eleven rack. im using win 8.1 x64 successfully with line6 and presonus hardware with a few daws including Pro tools 12 audioutopia version . i recommended win 8.1 cause win10 gave me headaches with my musicapps and in general. go with win 8.1 !! win10 sucks donkeyass

 

I just upgraded to windows 10. All my programs still work except for audioutopia v12.3... has this happened for anyone else and is there a fix?
