Hi DarkLizzard,

Why Struggling with that Vst Synth when "Sylenth, Massive and many others" give good Sounds and work fine? I don't like Serum that much ( Too "Clean").
It won't be a surprise if that famous "Keygen" always given with SERUM was a fake and a Working Trick to make that synth popular! Kinna "reverse Marketing" or a fake girl playing "Hard to get"!

I mean its a bit irrelevant whether it's cheap 4 me, or you, or millionaires, or whatevs; was what I was tryn 2 say. Just only rly legit criticism when u compare $ 2 other synths, rly. Is Serum even half as good / functional as Omnisphere? Is it over twice as good / functional as Monark? Is it 10x as good as them 10-a-penny Reaktor ens that do almost exactly same kinda thing? I dunno. But I think that there's at least 10-20 synths I'd buy b4 it and a lot (most) of them are cheaper. I just hope that the constant hype train rly doesn't mean Serum2, instead of smthn a bit moar experimental & interest than fukn WT.

Yeah, thanks 4 links bro, I hadn't seen those b4. Problem is that Duuuuda does have a real fixation with "noise", as he calls (and liek i said - I sps is =) analog-sounding shit. And digital shit, 2. I still think that main prob (smtms) with Sylenth is it (OSC) sounds too clean and perfect, so I dunno where he's headed. I just hope he checks himdelf a bit, and stops wrrying about how 2 painstakingly cut out what might end up being the (an?) actual character of his next synth.

Kinda means v3 of wrapwarden (?), or whatevs, I think. Just software thing, not dongle version.

It's unreal to see this four year old thread and realize it could basically be from yesterday, creepy how the protection still works four years later, whatever the dev did seems to be very effective. But as long as buyers get serial activation without dongle and online checks I'm basically fine with it. Like u-he's synths, I suppose.

delete user.dat
re-register
make user.dat read-only

also put this in your hosts file (remove spaces from URL)

if one is having well known issues with serum from the latest realease, read the info file included. seriously. the answer is right there.
