Recently i watched Banshee tv serie and i discovered this girl!

 

Almost 10 years ago. I've watched the Heima. Then I learn about Sigur Ros. Not my favorite kind of music but I liked very much.
The movie is about free and unannounced concerts for the people of Iceland.

And there was Earth vs. the Spider. Not a good movie but I think it's ok if you're a fan of spiderman and spiders The same story with different manner of telling and very different ending. The band I learnt from it is Poe:

Before passing judgement you should know that I was living on a tropical island where CDs cost upwards of $45 and we had four radio stations, one of which was news and another two didn't play English/American songs.

Apart from the films' score composers or classical composers whose pieces were used in the film, I've usually found pop music used inappropriately or annoyingly in films, even if the songs were good, or the songs are used as indistinct wallpaper, so I'd be disinclined to notice or remember them – though usually the songs aren't so great, so nothing lost. I've also always tended not to see trendy mainstream movies which use trendy mainstream music, because I'm an art-house (a term which I find archaic but is still used nevertheless) movie snob. I've always preferred intense or thoughtful stuff that isn't about being young and marketable-to.

The only exception to this, in my whole life, would be this song, from a movie that came out over 20 years ago and depicted the band (with actress Madeleine Stowe miming the fiddle part), because the band and the song were presented up-front:
