Is someone here doing breakcore in FL/Renoise and wanna share a tips with me ?:D

 

I haven't touched any in a while but the different types of randomize are your friends. Use strum on a sliced loop and then set the note limit to a single note and you can create drum rolls that speed up or slow down.

 

i recently got back into some breakcore type stuff with Ableton. I used 4 instrument racks with 10 Serum vsts inside. I equally distributed the note ranges and used sugar bytes thesys to to generate the midi. I then used the M4L LFO to change the note range in Thesys. I played the drums into a drum rack using a old roland vdrum kit into a drum rack which was also processed by beat repeat. The master channel had the I wish vst that was played with a ableton push.
