What is popping, and what is causing it? Inputs? Outputs? Random audio interface channels (even when muted)? Synths/effects in your DAW?

Open Device Manager (Start+Pause Break > Device Manager) then disable your Device under Sound, video and game controllers, then enable it again.

If that doesn't work, unless you installed another program between the time it was and wasn't working I would uninstall/reinstall your device's drivers.

If you did install a program recently, try uninstalling it to see if it was causing some kind of conflict.

You could try also try simply unplugging your audio interface from the PC then connecting it again.

I think everybody should be able to trace a signal from the source to the output and output back to source. One device, one interface, one cable, one connector, etc. at a time in sequence. If you can't do that in digital form, or analog, or a combination of both, it's hard to trace problems or even describe them in terms so that other engineers can help. It's how you solve these issues, and they come up often. Also, you have meters and the ability to add meters just about anywhere in the path. Not trying to be a preachy dick, I just think it is a basic part of all audio tech. That being said, I admit that it can be very puzzling sometimes. :guru::mates:If the clicks don't show on your interface meters, it's after the interface. If they show there, it's coming from somewhere before the interface. Are you running more than one clocked device, SPDIF's etc.?

That doesn't tell anything. Figure out the SOURCE of the problem.
i.e., does the speakers pop even when you unplug the audio cables (from the monitor input jack). If not, the speaker amps (if active) are not causing the popping.
Just work your way back from there, as rhythmatist suggested above.
