you are in the UK correct? I can't believe anyone there would even touch American "bud" , and are craft beers big over there?
I had heard every locality has its own brew anyway? What's your local ?

I felt like drinking something different the other day... a cocktail. I was ridiculed by my companions. Are cocktails frowned upon unless you are on holiday?

I drink a fair amount. Not bad amounts, but every night a shot of whisky helps me sleep and I drink every weekend and Fridays too. However, I've always neglected fruits around the house till I got this simple blender. Now I throw a couple of fruits in with Orange juice and I've felt just somehow... different over the about a month. Face looking more healthier indeed. Maybe a shot of vodka in it if I get bored of it haha.

I just sat here laughing when I saw 'liquid marijuana' with a bit of pineapple attached as if to make it mean it's really good for you.

  8. A song of mine that is a favorite for a whole bunch of people was written word for word from beginning to end, as well as the chord structure, in one smooth go, seamlessly, while sitting in the drivers seat of my old Honda Civic which was parked under a big old oak tree on the property that I lived on in my beloved Topanga Canyon, with an ESP Telecaster, the headstock jammed into the top right corner of the drivers side front window so that the unplugged guitar's resonance was amplified by the entire car frame, while having eaten....mmmmm, maybe three or four dried grams of psilocybin mushrooms. It is called Kevlar Slippers. It ponders the question of subjective reality by juxtaposing my memories as a five year old in regard to a particular self defining moment through my then current psychdelic, denormalized and blazing self. The chorus repeats the last of its lines..."But it's all fantasy and my hallucination". D.S. al coda.

So yes, @LoveKavi .. "different types of drinks/substances can have such an effect on a person's mind and creativity", at least for me.

Stuff them, Guy's always rip on one another for things that aren't viewed as "manly" but I'm willing to bet that they all wanted one after you got your's but because of dude code they just wouldn't admit it. Bill Burr covers such an area that I'm sure every man can relate to
Just have what you want, When you want and get called a fag now and again, I do it FWIW

All the best and to all as always

I stopped drinking heavily a few years ago but even then didn't really care to produce if I was drinking. My drink of choice nowadays is unsweetened iced tea. I always keep a big thing around when I'm making stuff.

    UK Here.

    craft beers are big.

in my day job, (i actually work nights so night job) i work for a brewery. NOT in the brewery in one of their bars. (i actually work for the hotel but not getting into that) the point is my employer is a brewery.

the brewery is local to my house about half a mile away, i pass it on my way to get to work. the brewery owns about 90+ estates and makes its own craft for all the estates.

on the bar we probably sell about 6 different lager/ale which is not our own (stuff like Heineken and Guinness etc) 6 that are our own with 2 guest ales.
the guest ales rotate probably twice a month and on the craft we have 2 permanent and 4 that rotate (average probably 8 different ones each month)

the cask and the guest ales are by far the biggest seller. people come specifically because they want to try them all.

i guess cask is just one of them trendy things these days and attract a lot of different custom.

in my city there is over a handfull of big breweries and a lot of micro breweries as well.

    and your question regarding Budweiser

we sell it over here, cant really say its popular i've been known to drink it in the past but it's not my choice of beer.

my work used to sell the budweiser original "budvar" but not so popular so got kicked out.
