hi guys im looking for a way to do the carlifornia love sound effect talkbox like
i was thinking since izotope released vocalsynth plugin which has a vocoder and a talkbox i was thinking with that you could do the same so i was trying around a few hours but it just doesn't sound like there hope someone can help

 

Its called a vocoder. There are many different Vocoder's out there. Have a look online I'm sure you can find the perfect fit for your needs and your budget.

 

Izotope Vocalsynth is a kind of vocoder, it has nothing to do with the sound of a real talkbox
I’m afraid there is no way to emulate the real thing
Also, Vocalsynth is $199, an decent talkbox is cheaper: MXR222 $169.99 (amazon)

 

You can try Vocalizer from Sonivox too.
Vocoder and talkbox are different beasts. I have a Banshee and love it!
