I used Ableton 8 +HEADPHONES Sennheiser hd 380 pro + MONITOR Genelec 8020
For audio effects I used 70% native ableton plugins...(like a reverb,eq,flanger,overdrive,ping pong delay...)

master with : S1 IMAGE STEREO+ L3 MULTIMAXIMIZER +BIG BLUE LIMITER


Does the mix sound ok?
I'd really appreciate your thoughts on it.

 

Talking about the mix, The overall is good. The bottom end is a bit heavy. High pass above 35 to 40Hz(cut lower than that). Reduce the overall just a bit. A club will have plenty to work with at that point.

Your pans don't need to be so extreme on that effect you are trying to achieve. (maybe L80 and R80) is good for that. The top end freq is good. I didn't hear any distortion so you are very close. I am listening in phones but I know these very well.

I think your mix is muddy, as the other member said. The bass overlaps your kickdrum becouse they are playing in the same frequency. Maybe choosing another kickdrum would help give it a bit more contrast. I like the laid back sound you given to it! Just check the mix and you'll have a great track.
