    I'll tell you what wil happen.

    The soil will be messed up.

    No Vault of seeds can repair the soil.

    I don't understand what you are saying.
    The purpose of the vault of seed is not to repair the soil. It can be used as a bank for DNA and studies, and like a biological backup.
    For example if a special rose that have a special scent, and have lost that scent after years of cultivation and cross breeding.
    We can go back and retrieve that special property.
    Thats invaluable and very important!

    What messed up soil are you talking about? i don't get your logic :)

    Hehehehe.... no, it's there becouse they use food as a weapon. If the population is reduced, they will plant the "normal" seeds again.
