Just name the plugins producing strange and special sounds. Not general ones like the normal synths or effects. Anything that is so different and can not be programmed easily using the stock ones.

reaktor have an unbeatable collection

 

Some unique ones that come to mind Pastoral Tones from samplescience. Spaced out ,drifty and melty boards of canada type sounds. Another good one for that unique character of sound is Phonec. It even has a melt knob for more lo-fi mayhem. Twisted Tools has some oddball glitchy Reaktor instruments. Really dig the SugarBytes plug-ins and their quirkyiness. Sinus Multi-lens for mangling and morphing.
