Just spotted this in the system requirements: "Please note: The installation process temporarily requires an additional 50 GB of free disk space on your system-drive – even if you're installing KOMPLETE 11 on an external harddrive."

It needs 70GB of free disk space on your system disk for Komplete 11 Ultimate.

That is just so fucking stupid, i bet theres loads of people, like me, that have a small ssd system drive and wont have all that space free.

Dumb cunts, the lot of them.

 

It's more expensive, wtf? It comes with 3-5 new libraries and 3 vst's and they basically sell you same thing

 

One thing i always thought was good about komplete is their upgrade pricing.

I have komplete 9 and for £159 i get:

Theres a few new things in it:

What is it that you think they could add to kontakt to make it worth changing from 5 to 6?

Seems to have just about everything that a sampler should have to me.

 

I kind of agree, but for the price of Komplete 11 and the amount of time gone by, it would seem to make sense to do a more thorough update version of Kontakt. And there is always room for improvement in every app and OS out there I suppose.

 

It doesn't come via the service center, its on a hard drive. Its a full clean install that i want, i recently redid my studio machine with a full reinstall of the os and programs. I deliberately didn't reinstall komplete 9 as i thought komplete 11 would be released this month.

the really dumb thing is that this 50/70GB is needed even if you are installing Komplete to a non system drive. thats just fucking stupid.

 

They are coming with a brand new hardware product the same day - 1st of September. Let see what they have done this time.
