@Ankit if its the kick/bassdrum you want then i wouldnt worry to much about the quality beeing "the best" . if it sounds good to your ears, then go for it.

You can then edit and tweak it with and Eq to taste after. If you cant get the eq to work right for you, you could go for adding a layer ontop/underneath the sound you sampled with another sound and blend them how you want it to sound like.

general eq tip i feelt i had to metion
    cut before boost.
keep frequncies you like/that make the sound work.
cut those freq. you dont need/like.

    and remember to have fun!:winker:

What about a hihat that comes short after the kick? I can cut it of but that also means a piece of the kick will be gone...

Sounds like you need a few 808/909 type kits.
Try finding any ' Spunkface ' drum libraries. Look past the name, the kits have some nice character.

Better yet, find the ' Hi-Tech House Kicks Volume 1 '. 100 kicks, all labeled after a different country, they sound good too.

You can create your own kicks using kick/2 by sonic academy. I would suggest you be more creative rather than sampling resamples like vengeance sounds or any other sample pack.

Pitch enveloped sine (any synth) -> saturation (Softube Saturation Knob, etc) -> lowpass filter.
EQ to taste (attenuate/boost 400-ish Hz, boost 50-90ish Hz, boost 3k "click"/transient, etc).

That kick plugin from D16. Punchbox sounds so good to my ears. And so tweakable so you can get exactly what youre looking for quickly. I would load my kick sample into it and make it proper

It takes me a lot less time to build a kick than it does to search through for endless samples. And with much more satisfying results.

also note.....No one can tell you what kick to use in your track. It all depends on what sounds good and feels right to you. Sometimes I'll have as many as 3 or 4 kicks layered and "glued" together

A Sennheiser e902 inside a bass drum with a Kickport front opening, probably more muffling than the drummer wants, placed close enough to the batter head to catch the attack of the beater striking the head.
