Hi, can someone recommend a Music Store in New York City?
I'd like to buy a Cloudlifter CL-1 from Cloud Microphones for a Shure SM7B, which I also have to buy, but probably not in NYC. I'll run the SM7B with a RME Babyface.
Stores I found which have Cloudlifter CL-1 in their online shop's:
    - samashmusic.com
    - bhphotovideo.com
Those Stores have the same prices as e.g. sweetwater.com or amazon.com

    Thanks!

The people at Sweetwater take very good care of me. Anything you buy there has their own 2 year warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty. When I was having an issue with my computer, it was past the 2 year warranty end, and they still helped me out.

Why not just order from Sweetwater? I usually buy from them and Musician's Friend, or otherwise just plain Amazon. Guitar Center is not bad for clearance deals sometimes.

Thanks for all the inputs! I probably should have told, that I do not live in the US.
So, garuantee is not important, but it seems it's hard to break a Cloudlifter anyway.
About Online Stores: I can probably send it to the hotel in NYC, BUT! I'd like to visit a real store - I'm old school. AND I also like to look around in a real music store, surrounded by musical instruments.
About GIYF: I'd like to get recommendations from trusted-audiosex-members who know the Music Store.

Thanks and have a great weekend!

Sam Ash or Guitar center. But if you want to save money Musicians friend has always been good for me.
B and H is really good also. Though they are not a true Music store.

  10. Dale Audio dudes were nice when I auditioned a bunch of different microphones and preamps last October

B & H on 42nd has everything including a great mic room which is loads of fun.

Alto Music never let me down when I bought some stuff and the shipped it to Europe.

Sam Ash and Guitar Center are corporate behemoth types and I feel as if all I am is considered a consumer. You cannot haggle any more there.

    Have fun in NYC.
