I'm thinking sawtooth bass with some portamento, or glide, some amplifier, or cabinet some eq, cutting the super lows and rolling off a wee bit of the high end, and a touch of reverb, probably via a send channel...

Is it just me or is there some nasty phasing going on with that bass?

Thx mates ! I've done the exact same sound nearly !! Thanks for your advices usernone. Logic's rotor cabinet did some good stuff. Maybe a bit more high end ?

your sound is pretty close. I am absolutely sure if you use a Moog ( real moog, trilian, minimoog plugin by arturia or other) it will sound even closer. I am pretty sure bodzin uses moog for this kind of bass.

u can also try to use 2 saw waves and detune them. make one of them a seventh higher and the osc a little bit quieter (the one with +7 tone).

Bodzin is notorious for producing in the box.

Bodzin uses his trusted Moog in all his tracks! But you did come close! You need to use an use Autofilter with a Bandpass setting to shave off the lows and the highs and get the right frequency in.
