damn man, I get like two pieces of bread for one buck here, AIR really are desperate for selling their plug for so little money. I bet they wouldn't sell it for nothing if it wasn't for Utopia leaks.

 

If only. Tried twice to download the sucker, and both failed after about three hours (for only a 1.3GB file). The third attempt yielded only the installment instructions .pdf instead of the installer file. It would be stupid to ask for my $1 back, but I'd kinda like a refund on my time.

 

From what I see, all the companies make yearly (or 2x yearly) sales. Maybe they want to sell a plug cheap in order for the users to upgrade that one license to a bigger pack with a bigger discount.

Yep. Free with Pro Tools. However, I might get a $1.00 license in case I'd need to work outside Pro Tools. It's the heyday version of Hypersonic, good sounding and versatile.

 

There is a link to the product download in the instruction manual pdf - i downloaded it ten times myself thinking what the hell is going on.. a little reading went a long way

 

Also I had some virtual cash stored up on pluginboutique.com - got this for free in the end...!

They could also be 'giving' this plugin away to create brand/customer loyalty, maybe they think that if you own one.. You might as well buy them all.

It would be interesting to know what % they get whenever someone buys Pro Tools
