Sideshowbob that has to be the post of the year mate. Makes me glad you finally stepped out of the shadows and joined our beloved communities because what you have to say is of grave importance for all of us and not just in relation to these sites but in a global context. Bravo mate. [IMG]

Just a bit of feedback on Serum (Ironically, off topic  ). It really, really makes a difference actually owning it. I find that I want to get to know it inside and out. I want to become an expert using it. Dropping the dosh kind of forces you to use it more. It's also fantastic knowing that I will have immediate access to any update (like a day or so earlier! ) and don't have to worry about sketchy cracks, bombs, etc (not that I've ever come across dodgy cracks on AudioZ). Also, I think I lucked out on this synth, it's GUI and workflow really resonate with me and am very pleased to see such interest by the community... So many waveform releases! Love it!

I'll be testing Omnisphere for a while yet, I'm afraid... it's almost 4 times the price of Serum :wow:

You get a lot of value with it though, even an iPad app. So worth it. *yes*

That sucks Cat re: Vicodin, I have been on and off them over the last few years for reasons from getting shingles (! at my age, in good health etc...was just stress, you know the feeling well:)).... I hear you re:tolerance, and the others as well... I used to love vicodin (recreationally) for mundane tasks like comping, tuning vocals etc... I try and keep my medicinal use down, as obviously they are habit forming, and now I have a frigging knee problem, but so it goes... Definitely get irritable without them... but been awhile, now the best they can give you in the states without a lot of triplicate form hassle is tramadol, which is just something that makes me tired...

as for the gentleman who mentioned THC, I agree, I personally just have never had a proclivity for it in that it makes me useless working sadly. Different things effect different people different people obviously. My old bass player was a wake and baker, and I will never forget that smell coming from the back lounge of our bus... But I tend to anxious on it, try different breeds here and there to see if there have been changes, but it is a far better pain relief solution for MANY, and far better then a lot prescribed.. Hell, I WISH i enjoyed it, because then I wouldn't be drinking a handle of scotch a week, and my liver would be happier!

But yeah, best to all in pain, and what predicated this conversation was my being a dick to One Reason, making a snarky remark about his grammar and spelling, which was a total asshat move of mine because the gentleman has debilitating pain in wrists and hands, and that's the best way for him to communicate. Maybe I was cranky because out of vicodin..:)

    So speaking in AudioSex language:
Sylenth vs Spire vs Serum ?

In terms of sound, tweaking, and CPU usage, whats your pick?

Funny they all begin with letter S.

Sylenth and Spire are similar in that they are both more traditional subtractive synths. I have long used Sylenth (though I do not do EDM, it just is a good old competent low cpu synth), Spire is more the modern response to it, and is really really good. Serum uses a different kind of synthesis, which one can approach similarly, but opens some different doors,,,, albeit at a larger cpu hit (although some spire patches can be cpu crushers as well).. I love all three, although I am spending more time learning Serum now in order to maximize what I want to do with it….

@mo484488 Audioz is a website Team AiR is a old cr@cking team,
If its the best website your looking for,for shareing free and cr@cked music making software, presets, midi, samples ect Audioz is Number one.
The best team was Team AiR but there gone and others have filled there shoes,
Teams have nuttin to do with Audioz, i would say its the users feedback and help as well as the releases that make Audioz the best.
