Thanks Redox! :) Yea, I agree with you on the kick drum issue. Gotta fix that. For the synths:

    plucks/arp: Uhe ace

    Bass: uhe ace

    Lead1: uhe ace x 2
    lead2:sylenth1 x 2

god i love the uhe stuff. hehe Thanks again Redox! :) ANYONE ELSE?

    hey billwants.

your bassdrum must be turn down
but try to listen to your number in a car or even at other people's music system
to find out your levels in your number
but I find that I miss a very deep sub bassline but it's probably just me? :grooves: but otherwise it
is really good and innovatory number
    i like it.

Musically very cool, catchy and interesting. Sonically to, you've choosed the very right sounds. But the arrangement don't work as good, I'm not sure maybe a lack of predictability. The transitions don't have enough impact to. As others said the mix: adjust levels and add air. The mastering?: dbs! go for it!

Thanks to everyone who replied to this thread. I appreciate your feedback.

Freebo: You are right. The biggest problem with the track is the transition between the two themes. But somehow I make myself believe its okey to leave it like that, cause Im too lazy to change it up, haha!. You mention "air" maybe I can remove the white noise thing in the intro beat?

Do anyone have tips regarding the transitions? And I would love to get some mixing tips as well, cause I cant hear what is wrong. I did turn down the kick drum though, and it turned out to be a good change.

    Cheers ALL! :)

Anticipation and impact. Normally you get that with more and longer fx . Longer risers and bigger impact fx with more reverb and more delay.
Take for example at 2:10/2:20 there should be a big big "chhhhhhh" or snare clap roll that creates the right expectation for the hands up part.
At 3:00 the opposite, to much for introducing a relatively quiet verse (which by the way should not be there! its chorus time there where you have to give everything, so rationalize the arrangement that alone could help)

Thanks for helping me :) But, somehow I dont agree with you. The coolest part of this song is the bassline and I want it to be the main thing, and therefore I think the buildup is to be there before the bassline drops. The happy melody thingy is just there to give people the best of both worlds, if you know what I mean. Its just an extra part to give it more of a commercial feel along with the dirty bassline.

I could delete the melody part and just have the "intro" and a buildup to the bassline drop, and thats it. But when I do that, its a bit boring.

What I personally think could be done is to make the transition longer between the melody part and the bassline, to give it more of an introduction before it drops, but then again, the surprise factor decreases. Its really hard. It almost seems to me that I have to choose between making this song into a pure happy "melody" track, or a pure dirty " bass" track.
