Why making a wallpaper for a library that already have a build-in wallpaper (like Best service Accordions)?

cause i find the original one to be horrible.. so 5 minutes on cs6 are worth..

I get a no library found,is it conflicting with some other library?

 

There are many libraries and the accompanying nicnt file that may not register a wallpaper tab. Lots of reasons, as plomerus points out. The one utility that I've used with almost flawless results is this: "KLM Custom Kontakt Library Tool v3.0-DoubleY". This was posted at the sister site a couple of years ago, and has solved most of my "Library not found" error messages (at least for me). You can grab a copy here (instructions are included: http://www118.zippyshare.com/v/jjAh7Yl2/file.html. If used correctly, this will work as advertised -- most of the time.

Aria Colossal toms and Wavesfactory Black Toms for starters.
I have lots of experience with adding libraries and im 100% sure i could add Black toms just two months ago.
I reinstalled windows and now adding all libraries again,so its really weird.
Im using version 5.5.1.

Very much appreciated, sir! As a long-time user of these libraries (and also a lover of eye-catching graphic designs) many of these wallpaper tabs are truly creative.

 

Installed the latest Kontakt,still the same problem,never experienced anything like that,i used to be able to add such libraries with ease.
I will investigate further,i need to fix this.TY friend.

 

Please give me the names of a few of these troublesome libraries. I also have the very latest version of Kontakt. As I mentioned earlier, I have used the KLM Custom tool to make short work of problematic libraries. However, there are times that a few extra steps are required. For example, a quick trip to the Windows Registry:

Occasionally, I find that after I use the KLM tool, I may have to change the library's default k2libxxxx entry to another 'unused' one. E.g., k2lib0000 to k2lib0003 or whatever is available. Then, I reopen Kontakt, and the library now shows up. With earlier versions of Kontakt, that extra step was not necessary. If you need me to elaborate further, I'll be happy to do so.

 

I usually remove the key altogether as the newer libraries don't need it and it prevents a similar occurrence later on.
This was the case for Fluid Harmonics, Wave Alchemy Spectrum and Photosynthesis Vol 4 Realms.
For Realms I also had to delete the .xml file in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Native Instruments\Service Center. Upon restart Kontakt will rebuild the xml.

 

I hear you, bro. The key words are "newer libraries". Some folks -- especially those who are novices to the Kontakt universe -- are 'still' collecting earlier instrument samples. So of course, the k2lib hack continues to remain viable. As for my own libraries, fortunately I have had few unsolvable issues. My biggest problem is trying to decide which of the hundreds of libraries I want to toss. <lol>

 

What few problems I've had with duplicate SNPID info was easily addressed and remedied with this little tool: "NI-SnpidLocator"; a part of a utility package" "Native Instruments (HomeCooked TinyToolz 1-6)-TRACER". The tool was re-posted recently. It shows whether any duplicates exists in the Native Instruments Service Center. But, as I've mentioned, it's "house-cleaning" time. I'm going to hold my nose and dump tons of libraries over the weekend. (My computer's hard drive will breathe a big sigh of relief).
