Anyone know where i can buy Juno-106 Patches from?

 

there are patches floating about for the old Juno series synths....

but, they are very simple instruments and since your 106 has knobs on... I would recommend just fiddling about and making some sounds of your own.

You may also enjoy adding more modern effects to the sounds since the Juno comes with little more than a bit of chorus.

Here's something you might like to try:

Dial in a nice bright patch; Record some legato chords, maybe using the polyphonic portamento (it may sound a bit odd at this point.

Then...

In logic...

Chop up the recording into rhythmic sections (or use some sort of filter with a multi-stage envelope) for a more modern and interesting sound.

Or...

Try double tracking your juno with the same basic patch but using a pulse waveform on the left side of the stereo image and a sawtooth on the right.

This can give a nice jupiter 8 ish kinda sound.

It is a very simple synth. You'll have to be creative to get the best out of it.

Ohh! One more thing... Try the double track idea with a lush reverb plug in. Lovely!
