If I understand it correctly you would like to have a backup of your external hard disk without buying another hard disk? You can rent some space on one of the cloud services and upload all of your HD's content there. The only other way is to buy another hard disk, connect them both to your computer and copy all the data from one to another. That's how it's usually done in my circles.

Don't put yourself in a position to rely principally upon cloud storage, at all.
Have duplicate, even triplicate, copies of everything which you don't want to lose.
Keep the different storage instances (drives) in separate geographical areas.
I myself do backup of data monthly and keep portable (duplicate or triplicate) drives in a safe deposit box at a bank across town.
Although it's not quite "cloud" storage, it is archival (and costly) - Iron Mountain.

Do you all trust online storage? Do you feel your data is safe? I have my data backed up on two separate drives but would consider online as well. Just the whole idea of it kinda scares me...

If we're gonna feed Skynet something, may as well be decent tunes.

..or romplerFX'd Vengeance samples, depending on your circle.

One of the most dedicated trolls I've EVER encountered (mIRC'ing since the late 90's).

mIRCing huh? Ahhh good ole Efnet and Undernet. It was much less intrusive than Faecesbook and nowhere near annoying, and even that is an understatement.

Why do you need two drives? Because a physically failed drive costs thousands to restore versus just buying a cheap external from Costco and mirroring things once a week or so.

Buy more drives, 2 is not enough. You gotta backup the backup, then backup both and to be sure, make 2 more backups as well, your samples and loops is very important.
You gotta protect your loops man, we cannot afford to lose your shit edm, this is a piece of ... history

He was actually more seen as a very gifted child genius and later in his life as one of the most gifted musicians of his time. He would have deleted all his files after retirement just to proof how genius he was and that the cloud is not worthy of his music.
