I don't know if you can do this to us Steve, just imagine what incredible talent human kind will completely miss out on if you actually decide to throw in the towel at this point. Sure, most humans have not yet been into contact with you and are unaware what they'll be missing out on. But for the few of us, there will always be this lingering feeling about what could have been.

Personally, I can see it very clearly inside my head. It's the 21st of June 2022 and the Swedish House Mafia just got back together again as a group to take over the EDM scene once and for all. They recently released their much awaited remix of "One" (which turns out to be the exact same song with a different Vengeance Sounds kick and snare instead of the original ones) in collaboration with Miley Cyrus. I'm obviously enjoying the show watching the stream at home while being high off my ass from taking too much MDMA. But even while all that is happening, there is still this one feeling spinning around in the back of my head. What if Steve Faoki never quit and continued on his rightful mission to let the World know what true EDM should be about.

About 10 minutes into the Swedish House Mafia set they start raising their hands and they bring us a perfect transition from their new "One" song into the old version while the crowd goes wild. I can only imagine what kind of magic they used to make this seamless transition happen while nobody actually had their hands on the CDJ's or mixer within the last 5 minutes or so. Have they finally harnessed the power to control sound waves with their minds? Or was this set just pre-recorded and aren't the CDJ's and mixer not even plugged in? I tell myself that it has to be the former after thinking about it for 30 more seconds. Those guys will never deceive us like that by using pre-recorded sets while playing in front of thousands of people.

At that very moment a man starts approaching the DJ booth from the side of the stage. He looks a bit like Arnold Schwarzenegger in Conan the Barbarian. His long hair and glistening, muscular chest are bronzed and reflect the shining light of the disco lighting scattered across the stage. He walks up to the DJ booth and kicks the entire Swedish House Mafia down into the audience like Leonidas did in the movie "300" during the pit scene. He grabs the mic and swiftly yells: "This is not real EDM, these guys are just frauds." He picks his brand new Pear computer out of some magical pocket within the lion cloth he is wearing. Plugs it into the mixer and drops his first tune of the now new closing set for the festival. He grabs the mic again and shouts: "I will show you real EDM, I hope the World is ready for what is about to come!" and while he does that about 27.6% of the female population present start to faint.

The next 55 minutes will from then on be known as the ones that truly shaped the electronic music scene for decades to come. Later that week the President of the United States of America will give a speech in which he thanks Steve Faoki for finally bringing peace to the Israel/Palestine region by ways of his glorious EDM set on the closing performance for EDC that year. Within the next months most World leaders will invite him to their country to thank him for his help in achieving World peace. Kim Jong-un invites him over for lunch and at that very lunch he promises Steve Faoki to dismantle all of his nuclear weapons and join the United States of America. Vladimir Putin actually ends up giving him his own Polar Bear mount to thank him for his deeds, so the next time he will get on stage the entrance will be even more glorious.

Do you want to be responsible of denying the Human kind as a whole this very opportunity Steve? I think not!

P.S: Mods, please don't delete my post even though it's a bit long. I worked very hard on this and I think we should all get the chance to shine our personal light on this possibly groundbreaking news. Thank you!

It was obviously a little piece I wrote just to make sure I can guarantee myself the position of biography writer once this thread gets him motivated again and that scenario inevitably takes place. A guy like Steve Faoki will need a biography written somewhere down the line and this shows him that I'm the man for the job!

Obviously happy it got you some solid laughs though!

I agree that, so when I hear a musician talks about retiring from music, I don't believe them. If he/she really could quit, I'm sure already wasn't a musician.

If I was you, I would say " Sorry, I never realised i posted that. I was only joking. See you all tomorrow."

I would actually enjoy that because I don't think you deserve half the crap you get, and I quite enjoy your posts. So does everyone else if truth be known. Look at how many responses you got and how much you brighten up the place.

the guy did bring on some laughter each once in many posts just by being the dumbass he is on music production but on the other hand,
could you honestly stand another round of his 'Greatest Shits' music productions?
