So I have this patch in kontakt that is basically a sound fx. The sound fx consists of 3 sounds put together. Is there anyway that I can edit the wave and take out one of the sounds? I would think this can be done with the wave editor but I am unsure. Thanks

Not if they are combined in that wav file. If you click on the mapping editor and the 3 sounds are combined by layering samples on top of each other than you can remove them there.

Im a little confused as to how to do that. I duplicated the current zone 3 times. But when I adjust the zone the only thing that it affects is the root note it does not take out any of the sounds

It won't take the sounds out.

The only way to do that on a WAV file is to use Phase Cancellation. If it Sound FX u can adjust the start, stop position and everything else but Kontakt not really the best for Phase Cancellation etc.

U would be better of using an external wav editor etc to get rid of the sound from your wav file or sample B4 mapping it into Kontakt or chop it up depending upon where the sound occurs etc

Depends what it is your trying to remove from your sample? Format of your sample & other things.

I have possibly also misunderstood exactly what you are trying to achieve :)

    Zone ! = Sample Start !

Have you read the Manual ?

    If not DO IT :)

Might be more efficient than that I write it here again
