Never really tested any of these Ample Sound releases.
Are they any good compaired to guitar libraries from e.g Orange Tree Samples and alike?

Yes, Ample sound is the most realistic sounding stuff right now. Them and Vir2 have taken the competition by storm. But mostly Ample sound. OTS is fabulous as well. The strumming engine is a total pain in the ass. But it's good once you get the hang of it. Ample sound's strumming realism could use a lot of work. This is something that is very difficult to get spot on. But if you're a guitarist (like me), then you know what sounds real and what sounds like a drugged R2D2. If you're like me and shit original songs out your ass like today's high school girls shit babies out their snatches, then you're probably a spoiled brat like me and always want to make a rock song on the go (Ie: while you're on lunch break at work or in a hotel on vacation without your studio setup). This is why I use virtual instruments. Honestly, Ample Sound and OTS are the top of the line.
Here is my score chart from best to worst:
    1. Ample sound
    2. Orange tree
    3. Vir2/Prominy
    4. MusicLab
    5. Acousticsamples
    6. UJAM
    7. Ilya Efimov & (Edit: & Indiginus)
    8. East west.
    9. Pettinhouse
    10. Insert your incredibly shitty guitar VI here.

If I did not list your VI here, then I can help. Take it from me - a guy who's rocked on the guitar since 2007: Your shit sucks. Stick with designing Fisher Price & Little Tikes toys that 80% of parents can't afford.
    Child's play.

I guess number 10 is Indiginus. They're not as bad.

personally, i really like indiginus. i'm sure a real guitarist would turn up their nose at it's limited range of realism, but within the context of a multi-instrument recording most people would not notice that it was a sampled guitar. and as a sketching tool it is infinitely easier to use than the others.

I originally had indiginus as number 7. But I didn't want to make any more ties. I have Indiginus Renegade (think I shared it on sister site not long ago). Honestly, that is a very NICE kontakt library. I love it dearly. Very glad I purchased it. It's certainly a lovely guitar. I was shocked that came from Indiginus.

If someone can share ¨150 New Strum Patterns (Christmas Gift 2015)¨ in the download section this would be fine...

Musiclab sent me an email today saying RealLPC 4 is shipping now. Upgrade price is only us$49

I've owned ample stuff before, and it does sound much nicer, but prefer the Real series because of the joystick integration.
If only Ample would let me strum with my guitar hero controller.
