Ok, this is a bit of a weird one but I'm just wondering if it's possible.

I usually use Ableton Live as primary DAW and rewire in Reason 8. Now, I just tried Harrison Mixbus 32C and whether it's a placebo or not, I just find the sound 'livelier' and truer. Now, I've always been dismissive of DAWs being vastly different in terms of sound, but Mixbus caused me to rethink.

Rather than bounce everything out of Ableton as .wav stems, I'm just wondering if it's possible to add Mixbus and send the audio tracks from Ableton into Mixbus for the mixing and final export? I'm assuming not, but am just curious about it....

I'm on PC and this is on a Mac. Also it's not clear from this vid whether it's just using routing or a third party app etc from what I can see?!

I am fairly positive with HMB you can route all the audio into it.
It seems to be a good solution.

I know it is possible in a certain order of launching.
Here, (in french) it's Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and Reason:

I've just come across VAC and I think there probably is a way to do it using this, just need some advice to figure it out. Therefore, I've started a more specific thread about the use and setup of VAC to achieve what I want here, so ignore this thread from now on, unless you have a better solution of course :)

I'll reply in your other thread too, but I actually have very specific advice on this exact thing, because I wanted to go Traktor > Ableton > Mixbus. VAC, which I do use every day, will work, but I found JACK (jackaudio.org) to work better because it doesn't have issues with multiple sources/sinks connecting to the same virtual pipe. JACK is kinda annoying to set up, but once its done, it works beautifully. I get no real noticeable latency going Traktor > Ableton > Mixbus
