This couldn't come at a better time for me. I just won a UAD-2 solo-core PCIe card w/ analog classics bundle on eBay for $180, and it finally arrived today. This is my first UAD purchase. And, I sold my Tascam Portastudio 488 MK1 for $240 and my MOTU Symphonic Instrument for $200 to buy some other new gear. I'm so exited!!!!! :D

For me just bying EQ cambridge sales + coupon =55 euros... yeah thanks uad..... and 1% of dsp at use.... So goodbye fabfilter and other Native EQ

Still too expensive.
Anyway, just wondering how better these sounds compared to Slate or Waves stuff for example: Can you really hear a difference in a mix?

 

ya i got subscription one month from slate i remove first month....even uhe satin is better than his vcc... and compared to uad for me is just night and day.... and Waves plugins are perfect for working tools not for emulation..... in native duende is by far better than slate plugin also and nebula plugin have reel sound of analog.... it's my choice only but i don't like steven slate sound

 

Why you are loving it? more great sounds? can you technically justify your point of view? Blind tests showed quality of ua

I'll sit the Wood Works out this time. Maybe in future sales it's going to come down even lower.

BTW, if anyone is interested in swapping individual plugin licenses, there are some plugins I could let go. PM me. For instance, someone might have an Oxide license and the Ampex or Studer licenses together, which is overdoing it. I'd be interested.

 

in fact with time pass i don't trust generally negative reviews come from people who haven't plug-in generally ... Last example are ilok software before audioutupia crack so many people against this kind of software and now there are free everybody find them marvellous and so good...so i try plugin inside two or three project of mine ( not new one but finished project which sound right for me) and i replace existing plugin (bypass not remove...) by these i want try and i just hear if my project is better like that or not... And when i make this with aqua plugin nebula libraries and uad software eachtime the project sound better and not with a little difference but big one....for me this kind of plugins (not algorithmic) it's not emulation material it's the material..... Immediately fit in the mix ,quality sound is great and if i want more warm loud analog . UAD and acustica audio are my only choice ... For general working tools waves plugins for stereo space phase etc for gate fabfilter one ( prefer gate from channel uad strip but for common task fabfilter one) for common fx soundtoys and eventide for M/S work and recording brainworx but for comp eq reverb amp tape channel strip acqua plugin, nebula libraries and UAD plugin are my first choise everytime ( in native work also with duende ssl comp uhe satin (for some delay line) the new arusor is a beast also on group channel but it's not a surprise company have made the excellent fatso on uad and i have buy UAD card for this one first and for ATR102 best tape plugin in a world ) ...
obviously i don't wait cracked sofware for trying i know what i have need for my music and i try and my ears tell me if i'm right and the final chapter i try on stage if my studio sounding is right
